Dr. Craig B. Frey is a fully licensed foot and ankle surgeon in the state of Ohio. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Frey has surgical interests in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic reconstructive surgery and management, ankle arthroscopy, athletes and sports injuries, fracture care, trauma, pediatric foot and ankle surgery, as well as bunion and hammertoe surgery. He has advanced training in total ankle replacement, foot and ankle arthroscopy, and diabetic limb salvage with external fixation.
Dr. Frey serves as an adjunct faculty member at Kent State University’s Podiatric Medical School. In medical school, he served as President of the school’s academic fraternity and served on the board of the Ohio Medical Podiatric Student’s Association. He currently lectures at regional medical conferences and symposiums.
Dr. Frey is still heavily involved in his community. He serves as an ex-officio Trustee on the Board of Trustees at his Alma Mater, Gilmour Academy. He is also co-president of the Alumni Association at Gilmour Academy. He was recently elected into the Gilmour Academy Hall of Fame in 2014.
Dr. Frey has a large focus on the treatment of athletes, with an extensive athletic background. While attending Washington and Jefferson College, he played and served as captain of the collegiate hockey team. He was a member of Team USA World Inline Hockey Team, winning both a gold and silver medal.
